lyrics

Once you were told the show must go on but in fact it never had to start.
You gave a lot of credit to this pantomime believing you'd become famous with your band.
"Rock and blow up the speakers!" and drive for hours in the van, it's never enough, never good enough.

Oh, the way you talk and the way you dress and the weirdest band names you can tell,
it's not facing the fact you are going nowhere fast, how relative is success.
If you palm off your audience with an awkward chicanery and a product that is far from good,
the greater it looks, the worst we got fooled.

You lose, this music is not the truth.

Once you were told the show must go on but in fact it never had to start.
You gave a lot of credit to this pantomime believing you'd become famous with your band.
And if music doesn't matter and if image is what counts, then what is what you're trying to say,
just say it again, please say it again.

You lose, this music is not the truth.
