lyrics

So you think our time is over,
Cured the bruises, cleansed the scars,
You have a bunch of broken dreams
You got new names for everything
And a transparent id.

You have the right to call me survivor,
Maybe I am too stuck in the past,
But our generation will pass
And the upcomers will demand
All the time that we gave in.

We still live in the ruins
We still breathe the ashes
We are the few that miss
What we lost in the battle.

And the last flame of reason
Will be hard to blow away.
A certain luminosity,
A simple shine, small victory,
As rudimentary as it seems.

We still live in the ruins
We still breathe the ashes
We are the few remaining as
Hostages of modern times.

Can’t you see that standards are down?
So what is coming next?

We still live in the ruins
We still breathe the ashes
We are the few remaining as
Hostages of modern times.

In the end of this long run,
There is a salesman giving us an answer
Let someone save us now
From emptiness, from nothingness.
